Electric, Review Videos, Scooter Reviews

Hey! Look at that! Another review for Motorcycle.com. I actually convinced them to let me review a BICYCLE! HAHA! Well, an electric bicycle… they actually created a new category for me. ;)

Anyway, I posted the video above and you can read the write up on their site HERE>.

I could see that being a great alternative in an urban environment. I just wish the top speed was a bit more. Twenty mph will turn you into a hood ornament where I live.

Hey Tim! Can you get around via side-streets where you are? Or, is it still to fast that way?

With these electric bikes, you can get to and from work without having to hop in the shower, pass rush hour traffic and use the pedestrian bridges and bike paths. Pretty cool.

Residential streets where I am are 30 or 35 mph and believe me, the people here go at least that fast. It is VERY risky for me to try to go to work on my Spree at 25 mph.

Electric bicycles are the best kept secret. We have 3 in our family. The first one was a cheapie bought at wal mart. The other two are Pedegos we bought from our local bicycle dealer which have changed our lives. I ride mine to work most days and then my wife and I ride together on weekends. 20 miles an hour is as fast as you need to go on a bicycle.

I forget that with the bicycle aspect you can ride on the sidewalk and avoid traffic!
