One thing Scooter-Infos.com noted when they returned from the Cologne show in October was how Chinese scooters are getting the serious design make-over. It’s late, and I don’t have a long, drawn-out analysis on the phenomenon but I don’t wanna let that get in the way of some good eye-candy. Click on the title link to see all the pretty pictures they captured. Oh, and take a look at the new K2. Kinda looks like a bunny rabbit to me for some reason.

The most positive note is that unlike the new models from, say, Honda or Derbi, these scooters have a fighting chance of showing up in the U.S.
It’s sad that American scooter buyers have to wait for the long, slow march of Chinese quality control to give us better bikes.

By digging down in the web sited linked here there was a TG Scala Rider Intercom advertized… what’s the origin of this site? The eye candy was indeed impressive and some of these models are really overdue!! As always, too many new scoots and not enough time.

genwaylaid, I couldn’t have said it better myself and now that Keeway has representation in Irvine, TX we will probably see them sooner than later.
This calls for a test drive!

Update:
I spoke to Frank at Keeway America and he said to expect to see them at the Indi show this February with US distribution in Spring of 2007.
As for these new models, you’ll have to wait ’till ’08 to get yer grubby little mitts on ‘em. Which is better than I can say for the Honda SH300i.
